The list includes the Hungarian and scientific Latin names of the pest species, along with the recommended ordering time for each species’ trap before the start of the flight period and the code of the suitable trap type.
If you order your trap by the date indicated for each species, you will receive it in time, before the beginning of the pest’s flight period. The dates shown therefore do not indicate the usual start of the flight period, but rather the deadline by which we need to receive your order.
If more than one date is listed for a pest species, this means that the species has multiple flight periods during the year. The abbreviations in square brackets after the species names indicate the recommended trap type:
RAG = sticky trap (with replaceable sticky sheet)
PAL, PALf, PALs, PALz, PALX = sticky sleeve traps
VARL, VARs, VARb3 = funnel traps (non-sticky, high capture capacity; suitable for mass trapping of certain pest species)
KLP = hat trap
TAL = ground trap (for capturing crawling pest species)
Yf = click beetle (YATLORf) trap (manufactured by RO-SA Micromecanica s.a.s., Italy)
SZINb, SZs, SZz = sticky colour traps (without pheromone)
